In 1976 the City of Festus adopted the Mayor/Council/Administrator form of government. The City Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the City and implements policies approved by the City Council. 

The City of Festus has hired Terry Draper as its new City Administrator.  Mr. Draper will begin his work for the city on September 14, 2009.  We welcome Mr. Draper and his family to Festus and look forward to working with him.
