Tumbleweed is a popular and active band on the local music scene. Their sound is a mix of country music, southern rock, and classic rock and keeps their party crowd on the dance floor! The Jefferson County Rodeo would not be the same without them! Tumbelweed is made up of Chad Pruneau, Mike Wallace, Bob Wolf, Eric Pruneau, and RIchard Bleckler
Hillbilly Authority provides a range of music including country, traditional country, southern rock, and new age country with some classic rock thrown in for just the right mix to keep the crowd wanting more. This summer marked the thrid year that the boys have played at the Firecracker Extravaganza. They also opened for the Oak Ridge Boys at the Jefferson County Fair in July. Hillbilly Authority is comprised of Greg Manis, Scottie Kemp, Mike Hatfield, and Kyle Hill.
This is a free event that is sponsored by the Festus Tourism Commission.
