Full-Time Police Officer

(2) Part-time Custodian(s)
The City of Festus is accepting applications for two (2) part-time custodian positions. One of the positions will do custodial work for the Festus Police Department for 4-5hrs each day, between the hours of 7:00am - 3pm M-F. The other position will do custodial work between two Muncipal Buildings (City Hall & Festus Public Library) between the hours of 3pm - 8pm (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) and between 5pm - 8pm Tuesday and Thursday. These are non-exempt positions working between 20-25 hours per week at $12 per hour. There are some benefits after one year of service; vacation, sick and holiday pay pro-rated.
Applicants must have a valid Missouri driver's license, high school diploma and/or its equivalent and be able to pass a drug screening, physical, criminal history and background check. Two year experience is strongly recommended, however four years is pereferred. The City of Festus is accepting applications for a position at the Festus Public Library: 20 hours a week including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and candidate must have a valid MO driver’s license. Duties include, but are not limited to, computer skills, assisting patrons, shelving materials. Must be able to stand for duration of each shift, bend to low shelves, reach to high shelves. The employee will be expected to take training courses to become a passport acceptance agent.
